One of the hardest things to do when living in an apartment is to give an active dog enough exercise to be healthy and happy. Long walks are in order for some breeds of dogs no matter their size. Smaller dogs might get enough activity in your apartment (not a problem if you’ve got tough furniture), but larger breeds often enjoy walks or romps outdoors. And doesn’t our best friend deserve our time playing with them outside? With today’s fast pace and typical busy schedules, we don’t always have the time, energy or even n ideal place to give our buddies what they need. Instead of feeling guilty, there’s a special place nearby that will give your dog room to roam.
At the new Watervue Apartment Home Community, we are constructing a beautiful pet park (titled “Paws to Play”) where residents’ dogs can get exercise, playtime and valuable “off leash” time in a comfortable, clean, controlled environment. Your dog wants to run around to have some fun, and our pet park offers that and more. Convenient watering stations also offer a quick break to rehydrate and then go back for more. The large open space included in the Watervue pet park will be a place for you to go outside and let loose, too. Throw a ball or a Frisbee, run around like a crazy person, get some great exercise yourself.
