One thing about having lots of open space, large ponds and a beautiful pool area is that we also have the perfect environment for an outdoor concert. VueFest 2009 was a huge success. Our concert producer set-up a major stage, sound and lighting system and residents and guests began laying out blankets and beach chairs all around our main pond area. Vendors brought a wide variety of food and the air was filled with the delicious aromas of barbecue sausage, hamburgers and other grilled items. A Dallas-based jazz band called Clava Con Loca began playing in the late afternoon and the music was incredible! Later in the evening, our headliner, Eric Faulk, lit up the stage with a fantastic rock and blues set. The crowd loved it and even though the final song ended around 9pm, people were still enjoying gathering around the pond and pool until well past 11pm.
