Green means that we are kind to our earth and it also means that you will save some major green living here (green means $$$$$)! We have drilled two deep-water wells to keep our ponds full and to provide water for grass trees and shrubs without using (and wasting) expensive, processed city water. This also saves you money as well. Pretty cool, huh? Also, we installed individual water meters in each apartment home so you only pay for what you use. On average it cost $5 to $6 dollars per person per month for your water. We also have doubled the insulation in the walls, the floors and ceiling are insulated, installed double- paned, thermal windows and the entire building has been wrapped in Dupont TyVek before installing the ACME Brick and siding (this is how they keep the energy in and moisture out in custom homes)! SAVE, SAVE, SAVE! We also have a recycle program which is also picked up right outside your front door five nights a week! We have used recycled materials even when building the property. Integrated pest control systems keep the bugs out of your apartment while keeping the chemicals (pesticides) out as well (we love clean indoor air). We even used 100% recyclable carpeting in all upper level homes. Did you know that over 6 billion pounds of used carpeting is taken to landfills each and every year? Not our carpeting…We recycle!
